The South Taranaki District Council has picked up on this campaign and we recently launched our initiative to encourage people to install sprinklers in their homes.
The Council will offer a 50% discount on all council building consent fees to those who install fire sprinklers in new or existing homes*.
This initiative could potentially save homeowners many hundreds of dollars in the form of reduced consent fees and cheaper insurance premiums.
If you would like to find out more about this offer and the possibility of installing Fire Sprinklers in your home please contact us on 0800 111 323 or 278 0555 or email contact@stdc.govt.nz. Alternatively you could click on the NZ Fire Service link below which contains more information about the advantages of Fire Sprinklers in homes.
