The NZ Fire Service has recently embarked on a national campaign encouraging people to install fire sprinklers in their homes.

STDC DISCOUNT ON CONSENT FEES
The South Taranaki District Council has picked up on this campaign and we recently launched our initiative to encourage people to install sprinklers in their homes.

The Council will offer a 50% discount on all council building consent fees to those who install fire sprinklers in new or existing homes*.

This initiative could potentially save homeowners many hundreds of dollars in the form of reduced consent fees and cheaper insurance premiums.
